Introduction

Feline pododermatitis is not as common as canine pododermatitis, yet many skin diseases and systemic conditions seen in cats, may involve the paws. In cases of feline pododermatitis, the foot pads and nail beds are most commonly affected, less often the nails and seldomly the interdigital skin. The causes, clinical presentation, diagnostic approach and treatment of some of the more common conditions associated with feline pododermatitis will be discussed.
