Definition:
Pododermatitis is defined as inflammation of the skin and connective tissue of the paw(s). Affected tissues may include haired digital and interdigital skin, footpads, nail folds and nails. Pododermatitis is not a diagnosis, but rather describes a dermatologic reaction pattern.
